Christmas in July Cocktails

Here are 5 cocktails you need to make for your Christmas in July parties. These are great to share with friends and family, and look amazing for the Gram! Take a look at these drinks that we love: 

 

Pineapple Margaritas

Ingredients:

  • Zest of lime (for the rim)
  • Salt (for the rim)
  • Wedges of lime (as garnish)
  • Wedge of pineapple (as garnish) 
  • 2 oz. tequila
  • 1/2 oz. orange liquor or triple sec
  • 4 oz. Powell & Mahoney Margarita Mix
  • 4 0z. pineapple juice

Instructions: 

  1. Wet the sides of your margarita glasses with some lime. Rim the glass edge in salt then leave in the freezer as you make your cocktail. 
  2. In a mason jar or shaker with some ice, pour in your tequila, orange liquor, and Powell & Mahoney Margarita Mix. Shake well. 
  3. Pour margarita mix in your glass with some ice. Then you can enjoy your cocktail for Christmas in July

 

 

Spicy Sweet Grinch Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar 
  • 2-4 finely chopped mint leaves, save some for serving 
  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 1/2 squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1-2 slices of jalapeños 
  • ginger beer (topping)
  • pomegranate arils (when serving)

Instructions:

  1. On a plate combine the sugar and mint. Rim your glass in mixture, then fill with ice. 
  2. Combine lime juice, grapefruit juice, honey, jalapeños and vodka in a shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain the cocktail into your rimmed glasses then top with some ginger beer and garnish as you please. 

 

 

White Christmas Mojitos For Christmas in July

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup of lime juice
  • 1/4 cup of packed mint leaves, save some for garnish
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of white rum
  • 1/2 cup of coconut rum
  • 1 cup of canned coconut milk
  • sparkling water
  • pomegranate arils 

Instructions: 

  1. In a large pitcher, muddle some mint leaves in sugar and lime juice. 
  2. By using a strainer, remove the muddled mint leaves. 
  3. Add white rum, coconut rum, and canned coconut milk in the pitcher and stir well until combined. 
  4. Fill four glasses halfway with ice and fill 3/4 full with the coconut rum mixture. 
  5. Add sparkling water to each glass, then garnish with mint leaves and pomegranate arils. 

 

 

Frosty's Frosted Moscow Mule

Ingredients: 

  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 1/2 squeezed lime juice
  • 1/4 squeezed grapefruit juice, save some grapefruit slices for serving 
  •  a dash of McCormick Peppermint Extract, to your taste 
  • ginger beer (for topping)
  • pomegranate arils (for serving)
  • fresh mint leaves (for serving) 

Instructions: 

  1. Fill your cocktail glass with some ice. Then add the vodka, lime juice, grapefruit juice, and peppermint. Stir well to combine, pour into glasses. Top each glass with ginger beer, and then garnish with pomegranate arils, a slice of grapefruit and fresh mint. 
  2. Ready to serve this fabulous Christmas in July cocktail

 

 

Rose Punch

Ingredients: 

  • 4 cups of ginger beer
  • 2 cups of fresh lemon juice
  • 750ml rośe wine, chilled
  • 750ml Cocchi Aperitivo Americano 
  • 10 dashes grapefruit bitters
  • lemon wheels (for garnish) 
  • edible flowers (optional) 

Instructions: 

  1. Place 3 cups of ice cubes in a punch bowl. Add the ginger beer, lemon juice, rośe, Cocchi Aperitivo Americano, and grapefruit bitters, then stir gently to combine together. Garnish your glasses with lemon wheels and edible flowers (optional).  

Frozen Brandy Old-Fashioned

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups brandy 
  • 1 can (12 ounces) frozen orange juice, concentrated, thawed
  • 1/4 Maraschino cherry juice
  • 1/4 cup bitters

Instructions:

  1. In a large saucepan, bring water and sugar to a boil. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved; cool completely. Stir in brandy, orange juice concentrate, juice and bitters. Pour into a 3-qt. freezer container. Freeze overnight or until set.
  2. For each serving, scoop 3/4 cup slush into a rocks glass. Pour lemon-lime soda into the glass; serve with fruit as desired.
